HOW TO KNOW CHRIST

(A message from David's heart)

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: No man cometh unto the Father, but by me."     John 14:6

ONE WAY - WILL YOU CONSIDER JESUS CHRIST?

My friend, have you ever considered Jesus Christ?

Notice, I did not ask you, have you ever considered a church?  I did not ask you, have you ever considered baptism?  I did not ask you, have you ever considered doing the best you can?  I ask you the simple question, have you ever considered the Person, Jesus Christ?

Jesus said, I am the way.   "The way to where?"  is probably what you ask yourself.  He said in John 14:6 that He is the only way to the Father.  1 Timothy 2:5 says that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man, therefore in order to go to God and have your sins forgiven you MUST go through Jesus Christ, God’s Son.

Jesus also says, I am the truth.   What a wonderful statement.  If you are like me you have been disappointed in people many times.  Perhaps even a close friend or relative.  Jesus is the truth and that means if you trust Him as your Savior you will never be disappointed in Him.

What a friend we have in Jesus all our sins and griefs to bear.  What a privilege to carry, Everything to God in prayer.

Not only is Jesus the way and the truth, but He is also the life.  The Bible says in Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death."  This means a person who has never received Christ as Savior and Lord has no life.  Eternal life is found in Jesus for He is the only life that will last forever.

I hope that you will come to be able to say with the apostle Paul
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live: yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."  Galatians 2:20

Won’t you call on Him for salvation now?

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."  Romans 10:13

A simple prayer for receiving Christ:

Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I invite you into my heart and life to be my Lord and Savior. I want to begin trusting in You. Thank You, that I am now a child of God and I am going to heaven according to Your Word, The Holy Bible. Amen.
